    Unlike print or TV medium, the World Wide Web has some qualities that both help and hinder website designs. Most people use a 28 or 56kbs modem which still takes 3-10 seconds to download the average page. When graphics, sound and audio is added it can take 2+ minutes to download a page! Not very inviting as a consumer. We all know time is money, so what's the answer? Balance, maximize information without sacrificing too much of the graphic design.
